Who we are
British Alpacas Abroad provides top quality advice and practical help to people wishing to breed alpacas outside the UK but utilising British expertise and stock.
British Alpacas Abroad is a partnership between Livanti Alpacas, Morden Hall Alpacas and Zarza Alpacas.
Livanti Alpacas
Livanti Alpacas was established in 1999 by Liz Barlow and Ivan Greenaway. They are based in the village of Aston Abbotts, 30 mins from M25, M1 & M40 in Buckinghamshire. Liz was one of the first alpaca judges to qualify in the UK and has already judged many shows in the Uk and Europe. The Livanti herd includes a number of prize winning alpacas including Livanti Cloud – BAS National Champion 2004.
Morden Hall Alpacas
Janet and Peter Garner established Morden Hall Alpacas in 1997. The farm is situated in South Cambridgeshire close to the Hertfordshire border. The Morden Hall herd numbers around 150 huacaya and 20 suri alpacas. Only about half the herd is white, so there are plenty of cloured alpacas to coose from if that is your preference.
Zarza Alpacas
Zarza, based in Herefordshire and Italy, is run by Hilary Shenton and Pam Smith. It provides high quality huacayas and suris to clients UK wide and beyond with extensive herd development and breeding services. Hilary is also a qualified judge and now divides her time between her two herds in Italy and the UK.
